Hereford Lib Dem MP, Paul Keetch met with members of the Cotswold Line Protection Group this week to discuss rail services between Hereford and London. Mr Keetch, a keen supporter of rail use is a Vice President of the Group. "I was delighted to meet with the Group's officers, including the one that covers Hereford Station", said Mr Keetch. "We discussed a range of issues, including my preference for introducing an 'Express' service between Hereford for mornings and evenings to aid business users. "The continuing problem of passengers from Worcester being turfed off trains at either Malvern or Ledbury was also raised at the meeting. I have agreed to write to the Transport Secretary, Alistair Darling MP to discuss the concerns raised by my constituents. It seems from the volume of complaints my office is inundated with Central Trains are driven by targets rather that customer satisfaction.
